Account & data deletion
Kabina app — effective from 20 June 2026
You can delete your Kabina account and related personal data directly in the app at any time. Below is how to do it and what gets deleted.
How to delete your account
In the app, open Profile → Edit profile (Account settings) → Delete account. If you cannot access the app, email us from the address you use to sign in, to info@kabina.cloud with the subject “Delete account”. We may ask you to confirm from that address to verify your identity. Email requests are handled without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest.
What we delete
- Your account and sign-in credentials (email, password).
- Profile data: first and last name, date of birth, nickname, phone and profile photo.
- Your team memberships and roles.
- The profile photo stored with your account.
- Your attendance responses and poll votes.
- Carpool: rides you created are deleted, and your name is removed from rides you joined.
- For photos and videos you uploaded to a team gallery, we unlink your personal ownership (the files themselves stay with the team).
What may be retained
Messages you sent to a team chat are part of the team's shared conversation — after your account is deleted we drop your name from them and they remain visible to other members as messages from a removed user. Team accounting records (fines, payments, payment requests and treasury movements) are retained as the basis for the team treasury and legal records; after account deletion they are no longer linked to a live user account.
Deleting a whole team
If you are a team manager and want to delete an entire team including its data (events, fines, chat), say so in your request. Note that this removes the data of all members of that team.
